It was during this period that Pipex Italia was established, and it remains one of the most important sales and marketing platforms of the group to this day. Since its very beginning, the company has been led by Luigi Cuzzolin, a long-standing director who has been closely connected with the business for more than three decades.


Based in Arona, near Lake Maggiore, Pipex Italia is responsible for the sales and distribution of Železiarne Podbrezová products to dozens of countries worldwide. The company plays a significant role in overll sales and serves hundreds of customers across various industries – from energy to the automotive sector.

Even in challenging periods, the company has managed to maintain reliable deliveries and the trust of its customers, thanks to long-term relationships and extensive experience in international trade.


Another interesting aspect is his personal connection to Slovakia – in addition to leading Pipex, he serves as Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Milan, actively supporting both business and cultural relations between the two countries.
