Easter traditions came to life in Tále and brought all generations together
Easter Sunday in Tále traditionally belongs to the event Easter Joys, which becomes more popular every year. This year was no exception – beautiful spring weather, a diverse program, and a unique atmosphere attracted many visitors from different parts of Slovakia.
The event, organized by Tále in cooperation with the Regional Tourism Organization HOREHRONIE, has gradually become a beloved tradition. Many visitors return regularly, but there were also those discovering its charm for the very first time.
A rich program for everyone
Visitors enjoyed a vibrant cultural program that appealed to all age groups. Musical performances created a great atmosphere – the band Banda played, Chlopi z Heľpy performed, as well as the folk music group Košarinka. A dance workshop with the folklore ensemble Závadčan also got many spectators moving.
For children, various attractions were prepared – face painting, photos with a mascot, and a popular raffle that delighted many winners. An interesting highlight was sledding on the last patches of snow, adding an unusual spring touch to the event.

Crafts, traditions, and authentic products
Easter is inseparably linked with traditions, and Tále offered demonstrations of traditional crafts as well. Visitors could watch the weaving of whips and basket making, and at the same time purchase original handmade products.
There were Easter eggs, handmade crafts, delicious homemade treats, and clothing made from natural materials with folkloric elements. The entire event offered an authentic experience connecting the past with the present.

First steps into the world of golf
An interesting part of the program was also a public golf lesson, which attracts many curious visitors every year. Dozens of participants had the opportunity to try this sport free of charge and take their first steps on the golf course in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
As stated by a representative of the organizer, the aim of the event is not only to preserve traditions but also to create a space for meetings of families, friends, and visitors to the region. It is precisely the combination of traditions with modern experiences that makes Easter Joys a truly special event.
Traditions that matter
The Easter Joys in Tále once again confirmed that cultural heritage still has a strong place in today’s world. The event brought joy to families, visitors, and people from the region, including the community connected with Železiarne Podbrezová, for whom supporting regional traditions is a natural part of social life. Smiles, a pleasant atmosphere, and a rich program created an unforgettable festive day.
Thanks to events like this, traditions in the Horehronie region continue to live on and are passed down to future generations.
