Capital Expenditure Reporting under the EU Taxonomy
Our strategy is built on three core values: protection of natural resources, social responsibility, and efficient business operations. We actively respond to the challenges of climate change and are purposefully engaged in fulfilling European initiatives such as the Green Deal, the EU Taxonomy, and the CSRD Directive. Since 2023, we have regularly published environmental performance indicators for the ŽP GROUP.
In accordance with the EU Taxonomy framework, we assess our activities in terms of their impact on climate and environmental objectives. The results of the 2024 analysis include the following key indicators:
These values reflect a high level of integration of environmental principles into our production activities, particularly in steel production from recycled scrap using electric arc furnaces, corresponding to Activity 3.9 under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2139.
