Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. ANNUAL REPORT 2018 34 ŽP VVC s.r.o. The company performs R&D activities in physical metallurgy, metal forming, material engineering and process modelling and simulation. Applied R&D is mainly carried out for the parent company and, to a lesser extent, for external customers. The company also participates in international research projects. In 2018, the company generated revenues from the sale of own outputs totalling EUR 1 141 thousand. The company’s equity as at 31 December 2018 amounted to EUR 273 thousand and the company reported a profit after tax of EUR 114 thousand. ŽP Rehabilitácia s.r.o. The company was established in 2011 and provides outpatient physiotherapy, balneology and therapeutic rehabilitation services primarily for ŽP GROUP employees, and also for the public. In 2018, the company generated own outputs totalling EUR 270 thousand. The company’s equity as at 31 December 2018 amounted to EUR 115 thousand and the company reported a profit of EUR 21 thousand.
