ANNUAL REPORT 2018 In 2018, the company generated revenues from the sale of goods and services amounting to EUR 3 576 thousand, a 2% decrease compared to the previous year. In 2018, the company generated a loss of EUR 266 thousand. As at 31 December 2018, the company’s assets totalled EUR 17 357 thousand, with 93% covered by equity. ŽP – Gastroservis, s.r.o. The company produces fresh, refrigerated and frozen meals, and provides comprehensive catering services for the parent company’s employees, and subsidiaries and external customers. In 2018, the company supplied 24% of total meals outside the parent company. In 2018, the company sold products, services and goods totalling EUR 3 115 thousand and reported a profit after tax of EUR 2 thousand at the year-end. The company’s equity as at 31 December 2018 amounted to EUR 1 013 thousand, which is 75% of the asset coverage funding. FK Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. The company is one of two successor companies of ŽP Šport, a.s., and is a 100% subsidiary of Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. Its main task is to operate the professional first-league football club and all youth teams. The 2017/2018 season was the fifth season for the A team in the 1st Football League (Fortuna liga) and the B team played in the 3rd Football League. In 2018, the company generated revenues from the sale of goods and services totalling EUR 1 991 thousand and reported a loss of EUR 60 thousand. The company’s equity as at 31 December 2018 amounted to EUR 524 thousand, which is approx. 61% of the asset coverage funding. ŠK Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. The company is the second successor company of the dissolved ŽP Šport, a.s. The minority shareholders include the municipality of Podbrezová and the civic association, Telovýchovná jednota ŽP Šport Podbrezová. The company operates a professional bowling club and youth cross-country skiing, cycling and downhill skiing teams. The bowling team has achieved notable successes in club competitions. In 2018, the men’s team won the Champions League final – the Final four, against German KC Swabsberg, and became the champion of this league. The Podbrezová men’s team also competed in the World Cup held in Zaprešić, Croatia, where it placed fourth. In 2018, the company generated revenues totalling EUR 543 thousand and reported a loss of EUR 20 thousand. The company’s equity as at 31 December 2018 amounted to EUR 329 thousand, which is 83% of the asset coverage funding. ŽP Informatika s.r.o. Since its establishment, ŽP Informatika, s.r.o. provides comprehensive outsourcing services to Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. for IT and information systems. The company provides comprehensive outsourcing services to all ŽP GROUP companies and its services are also provided to external entities. In 2018, the company generated revenues from the sale of goods and own outputs totalling EUR 4 174 thousand and reported a profit after tax of EUR 27 thousand. The company’s equity as at 31 December 2018 amounted to EUR 2 249 thousand, which is approx. 77% of the asset coverage. ŽP Bezpečnostné služby s.r.o. ŽP Bezpečnostné služby provides comprehensive private security services for Železiarne Podbrezová a.s and its subsidiaries in the ŽP GROUP and also cooperates with external security service companies. In 2018, the company generated revenues from the sale of own outputs totalling EUR 1 658 thousand. The company’s equity as at 31 December 2018 amounted to EUR 313 thousand and the company reported a profit of EUR 15 thousand. The company had 82 employees.
