17 HUMANRESOURCES The Company's strategy pays special attention to the area of human resources management. Therefore, caring for our employees is a priority throughout the Company, from recruitment, selection and youth education through remuneration to the sophisticated occupational health and safety system, and permanent education andbenefits. Hence, in 2012, like every year, theCompany adopted the Personnel, Wage, Social andOccupational Health and Safety Policy Programme. The programme is set out in two basic documents: the 2012 Collective Agreement concluded between ZOOZ KOVO (the KOVO Trade union works council) and the Board of Directors of Železiarne Podbrezová a.s., and the 2012 Employee Care Programme of the Board of Directors of Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. The Company met all of its obligations arising fromthesedocuments.
