The company produces fresh, refrigerated and frozenmeals and provides comprehensive services in catering for the parent company's employees and for external customers.The proportion of meals delivered to external customers in 2011 amounted to 31% of the total number of produced meals. In 2011, the company sold products, services andmerchandise in the total amount of EUR 2,842 thousand. In 2011, the company also participatedsignificantlyindesigninginformationsystemsforŽĎAS,a.s.,ŽPEKOQELET,a.s.,andŽIAROMAT,a.s.. Last year, ŽP BYTOS, s.r.o., managed lease apartments owned by Železiarne Podbrezová, a.s., as well as privately-owned apartments under management agreements.The company's revenues from the sale of services totalled EUR 197 thousand.The company has registered capital of EUR 70 thousandand,asattheyear-end,reportedaprofitaftertaxintheamountofEUR13thousand. Thecompanyperformsresearchanddevelopmentactivitiesinphysicalmetallurgy,metalformingandmaterialengineeringforŽeleziarnePodbrezová a.s.andforexternalcustomers.Italsoparticipatesininternationalresearchprojects.Thecompanyhad10employees.In2011,thecompany'srevenues from the sale of services totalled EUR 460 thousand. The company has registered capital amounting to EUR 33 thousand and, as at the year-end, reportedaprofitaftertaxintheamountofEUR90thousand. The company's core activities mainly focus on sports, advertising, and promotion. In 2011, it also provided for the development of professional and amateur mass sport activities for the parent company's employees and for the general public. In 2011, the company's revenues from the sale of merchandiseandservicestotalledEUR1,531thousand.ThecompanyhasregisteredcapitalintheamountofEUR510thousandand,asattheyear-end, reportedalossofEUR71thousand. ŽPBezpečnostnéslužbys.r.o.wasestablishedinAugust2011.Asat1October2011,partoftheDefenceandProtectionDepartmentwasseparatedfrom Železiarne Podbrezová, a.s. As part of this process, 93 employees were transferred from Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. to the new company and the company started to provide its services. The aim of this separation was to make the cost flows in ŽP GROUP more transparent and to expand the provisionofsecurityservicestoincludealsocustomersoutsideoftheŽPGROUP.During2011,thecompany'srevenuesfromthesaleofservicestotalled EUR 477 thousand. The company has registered capital in the amount of EUR 200 thousand and, as at the year-end, reported a profit of EUR 68 thousand.
