ANNUAL REPORT 2018 18 To improve the work environment, the Company ensures a safe workplace, provides appropriate protective equipment in line with the approved regulation and constantly communicates with employee representatives and employees. The Company provides regular employee education in occupational health and safety, cooperates and regularly communicates with employee representatives responsible for work safety monitoring focused on injury prevention and avoidance. A total of 77 employee representatives from various units monitor the situation and send monthly reports (a total of 741 were received in 2018). In 2018, there were 37 registered occupational injuries at the Company, a decrease of 12 compared to the previous year. Unfortunately, one severe occupational injury resulted in the death of an employee. The average treatment time increased from 65 calendar days in 2017 to 71 days in 2018.
