ŽP Bezpečnostné služby provides comprehensive pri - vate security services for Železiarne Podbrezová a.s and its subsidiaries in the ŽP GROUP and also cooper - ates with external security service companies. In 2016, the company generated revenues from the sale of own outputs totalling EUR 1 564 thousand. The company was established in 2011 and provides outpatient physiotherapy, balneology and therapeutic rehabilitation services primarily for ŽP GROUP em - ployees, but also for the public. In 2016, it also provided for the devel- opment of mass professional and amateur sport activ- ities for the general public and the parent company’s employees. The most significant sporting success - es recorded were achieved by the football team that played in the 1st football league (Fortuna liga) in the 2015/2016 season for the third year and reached sec- ond place in the autumn of the Fortuna liga 2016/2017 season, which was the highest position attained in the club’s history. The bowling team also achieved nota- ble successes at world club competitions. In 2016, the men’s bowling team was ranked second at the world cup. In 2016, the company generated revenues from the sale of merchandise and services totalling EUR 2 509 thousand, an increase by EUR 530 thousand compared to 2015. In 2016, the company’s majority sharehold- er increased the company’s share capital by EUR 400 thousand to the current amount of EUR 910 thousand; the company reported a profit of EUR 74 thousand at year-end.
