To comply with Slovak legislation, in particular Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on Accounting, Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. prepared its separate finan - cial statements for the period from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016 in accordance with IFRS as adopted by the EU. SIGNIFICANT EVENTS THAT OCCURRED AFTER THE REPORTING PERIOD From 31 December 2016 up to the issue date of the fi - nancial statements, there were no such events that would have a significant impact on the Company’s as - sets and liabilities, except for those resulting from the ordinary business operations.
