In addition to the standard exchange of information, including direct communication within the working place and through media, the Company also publishes the longest-running company newspaper in Slovakia - Podbrezovan, (published for 63 years), which together with the radio station represent a medium for both employees and the general public of the region. Besides these traditional communication tools, Železiarne Podbrezová uses new progressive forms of information media. The use of intranet and internet is part of the new information strategy with the parent Company and the subsidiary and associate undertakings. In 2007, subsidiaries and associated companies in Slovakia employed an additional 1 031 employees. In 2007 subsidiaries in the Czech Republic employed 3 271 people, with another 34 working abroad.
